AFL NORTH COAST KICKS OFF SEASON WITH BYRON BAY TAKING OUT WINS

AFL North Coast kicked off its season on the weekend, with Byron Bay winning all 3 grades against Lismore.

In first grade, the Magpies thrashed the Swans by 104 points.

Meanwhile, in reserve grade, it was a closer affair.

And the Magpies women claimed a 42 point win.

“I know a lot of the boys were very keen to get back into it and myself included so it was just good to be back playing footy and enjoying some time with the boys as well.”

Lismore will play at home against the Tweed Coast this weekend.
