One of the world’s best junior golfers has swapped the green, for a swing at a different kind of golf in Newcastle.
The Hunter’s 7-year-old Harry Preece was given the honour of test-running Charlestown’s new indoor putt putt centre Holey Moley, ahead of today’s opening.
“What would you rate the course out of 10? 10/10.”
“He went pretty good, vastly different, different equipment, different types of greens but he putted pretty well,” Justin Preece, Harry’s dad said.
The golf protege recently took out the IJGA World Stars Junior Golf Championship at Las Vegas.
