POLICE SHUT DOWN PARTIES OF 1000+ PEOPLE NEAR BYRON BAY

Under public health orders, private gatherings are limited to 20 people, but it appears the message isn’t sinking in on the North Coast.

This was the scene at Wilson’s Creek near Mullumbimby, over the weekend, thousands coming together for a dance party that quickly descended into chaos.

Police shut the party down, they say hefty fines will be issued if restrictions are continually breached.
