MAN FACES COURT OVER HUNGRY JACKS ROBBERY

A 29-year-old Beresfield man has faced court, charged over yesterday’s armed robbery at the Hungry Jacks outlet at Hexham.
Police allege Neil Robertson used a gun to threaten staff, and was later seen climbing aboard a coal train.
The dog squad and Polair spent several hours conducting a search – the operation causing the shutdown of rail-lines into Newcastle.
Late yesterday, police arrested Robertson at a Beresfield address.
He didn’t enter a plea today, and was refused bail.
He’s due to appear before Newcastle Local Court in September.
I think he is a stupid drug addicted who happens to be my brother!
