PRINTING TO RESTART FOR MERCURY AND ARGUS, WHILE DUNGOG CHRONICLE TO CLOSE
The Singleton Argus and Cessnock Advertiser have survived the COVID-19 shutdown, with printing presses to restart on Wednesday week.
It follows news the Maitland Mercury will also recommence printing from the beginning of the new financial year.
The Dungog Chronicle, as well as six other Hunter newspapers owned by Australian Community Media, are expected to be closed permanently.
