RURAL FINANCIAL COUNSELLING SERVICES GET $4.7 MILLION BOOST

New England businesses struggling with the impacts of COVID-19 are about to receive better access to the services they need.

The Federal Government has allocated $4.7-million to improving the Rural Financial Counselling Service.

It means 18 additional financial counsellors and nine extra support workers will be employed across Northern New South Wales.

The cash is part of a $1-billion Relief and Recovery Fund.
