GAV’S WEATHER | MILD AHEAD OF NEXT COLD OUTBREAK

Clear skies still dominate the nation.

Cloud did roll in across the south-west region of Western Australia. That is the system that will reach us and produce some very cold temperatures from Sunday.

The high in the Tasman is getting squashed by two lows.

The high will put up a good fight, helping to produce a couple of nice days for most of the region, before the next cold outbreak moves through on Sunday, producing rain which will fall inland.

Monday and Tuesday of next week will be very cold.

There is still the chance of a few showers from Byron to the Gold Coast over the next couple of days, elsewhere it will be fine and mild for this time of the year.
