Clarence Valley Council will hold an emergency meeting tomorrow to consider a demand
by Rex Airlines, for an apology over what it says was an offensive remark made by a councillor.
The airline announced last week it would end all flights to Grafton from July 3, after Councillor Debrah Novak said Rex should ” pull their finger out” during a debate on landing charges.
The airline’s Singapore-based executive chairman, Lim Kim Hai, says he took great offence.
Tomorrow’s meeting will be held at 1PM.
