The New South Wales Under 15’s Softball State Championships are off to a swinging start at Lismore’s Albert Park.
The Far North Coast girls have won two games today, taking down both Orange and the Central Coast with ease.
The boy’s team had a close one against Georges River, just missing out on the win five – four.
Apart from playing for state supremacy, players are also being scouted for a representative side.
“They will come together at NSW for selection into a team that will compete against Japan in a series in March 2013.”
