Two police officers are lucky to have escaped serious harm after a rock was thrown at their car, while they were patrolling Boggabilla last night.
The projectile smashed the driver’s-side window, injuring a female constable’s arm.
The officer was treated at a nearby hospital – investigations are continuing.
