CENTRAL COAST’S DRIFTWOOD MASTERPIECES

Central Coast artist Pete Rush has produced another amazing animal sculpture.
The black swan – which can be found out on the mud flats in front of the Avoca Beach Scout Hall – is made from dead vines.
In recent months his driftwood masterpieces have been popping up on the region’s beaches, bringing joy to those struggling during the pandemic.
One of the public’s favourites was his Anzac Warhorse at Terrigal Lagoon…
While over at Copacabana he put together a woolly mammoth with just driftwood and seaweed.
