Police are asking the public to help find a teenager who tried to rob a Seven-Eleven at Long Jetty last night.
The boy went in to the service station just before 7 o’clock, armed with a makeshift weapon.
He threatened an employee, demanded cash, damaged an Eftpos machine, and took off empty handed.
No one was injured.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance aged 15 to 17, around 160 centimetres tall, and was wearing a red cap, with his face covered.
