MARSUPIAL PARK GIVEN A SPRUCE UP AHEAD OF REOPENING ON MONDAY

For the past few months, furry and feathery companions at Tamworth’s Marsupial Park have missed their regular human interaction.

Other parks across the region opened a fortnight ago, but the Marsupial Park remained shut for the animals’ safety.

However, come Monday, the gates will reopen.

Volunteer groups have used the time off to better the park, making improvements to the animal enclosures and gardens

The Marsupial Park will operate from 9am to 4.45pm, seven days a week.
