A man will face court today charged with the murder of a 63-year-old man on the Mid North Coast last night.
Police were called to a home at Euroka near Kempsey, just after 6.30pm, after reports of a man armed with a firearm.
Officers established a perimeter, and the armed man walked out of the home just after 8.30pm.
He arrested without incident, and taken to Kempsey Police Station, while he victim was found inside the home with fatal injuries.
Police are investigating the incident, but say the two men knew each other.
The 46-year-old man will face Port Macquarie Local Court today.
