Work to improve Queens Wharf at Morpeth will begin from June 1, thanks to funding from the New South Wales Boating Now Program.
The upgrade involves lengthening and widening the wharf, widening the boat ramp, improving the carpark and footpath.
Maitland Council says the changes will improve accessibility, and should be complete by August.
