The Wesfarmers Group says it’s unclear at this stage whether its Target store in Tamworth CBD will be closed as part of a nationwide review.
Up to 25 Target outlets will close, 50 of its smaller format Country Target stores will shut their doors, while others will be converted to the K-Mart brand.
Those stood down will be employed across Kmart, Officeworks and Bunnings.
