BALLINA SERVICE STATION ROBBED OVERNIGHT BY ARMED MAN

Police are searching for an armed robber who held up a Ballina service station overnight.

The man targeted the Metro station on River Street just before 9pm, stealing cash while armed with a knife.

He’s believed to be Caucasian, aged in his 20s and of large build.

He was last seen wearing black pants, dark blue hoody, black puffer vest and dark coloured Nike shoes.
