MAN CHARGED AFTER ALLEGEDLY FOUND CARRYING STUN GUN
A man has been charged after he was allegedly caught carrying a stun gun on public transport.
Officers from the Transport Unit were patrolling Gosford Railway Station last night, when they saw a man they believed to be in breach of his bail conditions.
The 31-year-old was arrested and taken to Woy Woy Police Station.
During a search of the man, police allegedly found handheld stun gun.
He was slapped with a number of charges including breach of bail, possess prohibited weapon and state false details.
He was refused bail and will appear via video link in Newcastle Local Court today.
