A walk-through COVID-19 clinic will open at Gunnedah Hospital on Monday.
It comes after more than 3,000 people were swabbed at clinics in Tamworth and Armidale.
Anyone with flu-like symptoms such as a fever, sore throat or cough is being urged to get tested.
It will open between 8am and 4pm on weekdays but locals must book an appointment.
