LOCAL CHARITY ‘OUR KIDS’ THANKS HOSPITAL WORKERS

Frontline workers at the Tweed and Lismore Base Hospitals were today shouted a cuppa – all thanks to a campaign run by local charity ‘Our Kids’.
More than $2,000 has been donated online, by community members and local businesses, to help cover the cost of the initiative.
“We just thought this was a lovely campaign that we can give back to hospital and just say thank you to our hospital heroes who they are unsung,” Our Kids Fundraising Coordinator Rebekka Battista said.
The charity hopes to run more appreciation events to support workers through the pandemic.
