Having a child seriously ill in hospital is every parent’s nightmare – and a Shoal Bay family is finding it even more difficult during the pandemic.
Seven-year-old Bella Howard underwent emergency surgery in Sydney yesterday after being diagnosed with a brain stem tumour last week.
The extremely risky operation, costing more than $100,000.
She’s now in a critical condition in the ICU, and due to restrictions, even her adoring little sister Mia can’t see her.
