A man has been charged after spitting on a woman at Westfield Tuggerah.
It’s alleged the 34-year-old fled the shopping centre lunchtime yesterday, and caught a train at Gosford.
Transport police eventually tracked him down, and he was charged with breaching COVID-19 orders, shoplifting, and intimidating police.
He has pleaded not guilty, and remains behind bars to face a Wyong magistrate in June.
