LISMORE WOMAN CHARGED OVER DRUG SUPPLY, POLICE WARN MORE ARRESTS LIKELY
A 30-year-old woman is the latest to be charged by police during a three-month investigation into the supply of methylamphetamine in the Northern Rivers.
This morning, officers executed a search warrant at a Lismore property, allegedly seizing drugs.
An hour later, a 53-year-old man was arrested at another home in Lismore.
“We have now charged 60 supply matters in ice – that is a significant amount of charges and I would say these are very active dealers in our community,” Detective Chief Inspector Cameron Lindsay said.
So far, officers have charged four people with drug offences as part of Strike Force Braunbeck, and warn more arrests are likely.
