A text-messaging based counselling service has been given a funding boost by the state government.
‘Virtual Psychologist’ provides mental health assistance to three million workers across rural and regional New South Wales.
It’s conducted more than 1100 counselling sessions over SMS since it was launched in October 2018.
The government’s invested an additional $80,000 to extend the service for a further year.
