Construction of the University of Newcastle’s Honeysuckle campus will begin earlier, thanks to a state government initiative to combat the coronavirus downturn.
The Planning System Acceleration Program will see 24 projects fast-tracked across New South Wales.
It’s expected the campus will boost the region’s economy siginifcantly – bringing more than 750 jobs to the area.
