POLICE WORK TO IDENTIFY ARMED ROBBERS

Police are asking the public to help identify two men involved in an aggravated break and enter on the Central Coast last night.

Just before 6pm, police were called to a home on Hutton Road at The Entrance, after the men forced their way in.

Officers were told the men, who had their faces covered, threatened a 66-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man with a saw and a knife.

They took a handbag with cash, credit cards and jewellery, before running from the house.

No injuries were reported from the residents.

One of the men is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 40s, with greyish, thinning hair and blue eyes.

The other man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, around 180cm tall, in his mid 40s, with a medium build.

Anyone who was in the area at the time is asked to contact police.
