A young girl is recovering in Tamworth Base Hospital after being thrown from her horse in Coonabarabran last night.
The Westpac Helicopter was called to the scene shortly before 6pm, where they found the 6-year-old had suffered back and pelvic injuries.
She was stabilised at the scene before being airlifted for further treatment.
