In a government oversight, Tenterfield mistakenly missed out on bushfire disaster recovery grants.
So today, Deputy Premier John Barilaro announced the town will be given access to the funds.
Tenterfield Mayor Peter Petty, says it means some businesses won’t have to shut for good.
The grants have also been extended to Walcha, Glen Innes and Armidale Businesses.
