ELDERLY MAN URGES SELF-ISOLATION AFTER COVID-19 RECOVERY

An elderly man in the Hunter who has recovered from COVID-19 has spoken out about the illness, urging people to continue to self isolate.

A month ago, 76-year-old Max Bristow returned from a cruise feeling well, but tested positive a week later.

The former athlete believes fitness has served him well.

And he’s glad he has isolated himself from his wife, to keep her safe and well.

“My wife hasn’t shown any signs or symptoms, and I’m amazed. But in saying that, I don’t want my wife to get the coronavirus, so isolation is still a major part of us in the house.” – Max Bristow.
