A man has died after crashing his truck into a tree on the state’s north coast yesterday afternoon.
The crash occurred on Skyline Road, Upper Main Arm, near Mullumbimby just after 2pm.
It’s believed the truck veered off the road, travelled down an embankment and crashed into a tree before catching on fire.
The NSW Rural Fire Service extinguished the blaze.
The truck driver died at the scene. He’s yet to be formally identified.
Investigations surrounding the crash are on-going.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
