CORONAVIRUS CASES REMAIN STEADY ACROSS NORTHERN NSW

As of 8pm Saturday April 18 there were no new cases of coronavirus in the Hunter New England Health District.

Currently there are seven COVID-19 patients being cared for in Hunter New England hospitals, including one in ICU.

Twelve patients are receiving Hospital in the home support.

An additional two patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases to 223.

There is one new case on the Mid North Coast, pushing its total to 51.

Meanwhile the Northern NSW health district has 56 cases and the Central Coast has 116.
