A man is in hospital with serious injuries, after a car crash on the North Coast this morning.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded to the incident on Gulgan Road at Brunswick Heads just before 9am.
It’s understand one of the cars crossed to the wrong side of the road before the two vehicles collided.
The 65-year-old man who was trapped in his car for around half an hour, and was treated and stabilised at the scene before being airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital.
He remains in a critical condition, and awaits further treatment
The second driver was treated for non life threatening injuries.
