LISMORE RESTAURANTS ENCOURAGED TO START HOSPITAL FOOD DELIVERY

Local restaurants and eateries are being encouraged to start delivering food to the Lismore Base Hospital.
The COVID-19 crisis has forced the hospital’s canteen to operate with reduced hours and some frontline workers are relying on vending machines for food.
State Member for Lismore, Janelle Saffin MP, is backing the Health Services Union initiative.
“We want our local businesses to survive but thrive, and we want to feed our frontline workers who we expect to turn up everyday and look after us, protect us, do a good job for us,” Saffin said.
Owners are invited to get in touch with Saffin’s office if they’d like to get involved.
