POLICE TARGET CENTRAL COAST BUSINESSES IN WEEKEND OP

Police have inspected 15 businesses on the Central Coast, as part of a two day drug operation, at the weekend.
The high profile investigation targeted drugs and licensing at premises in Terrigal, Gosford and Erina.
Twenty nine people were searched during the operation, while two were charged with offences including drug supply and possessing ammunition.
Brisbane Water Local Area Commander, Superintendent Danny Sullivan says a police drug detection dog and handler were also used.
“This operation continues and I assure anyone who has the intention of acting illegally or being antisocial in the future that they will be identified, arrested and charged.
“As people enjoy their leisure time in this beautiful part of NSW we do not want individuals or groups, causing problems. I can assure you that this operation will continue across the command,” Superintendent Sullivan said.
