A 56-year-old Bowraville man was arrested yesterday -charged with a number of historical sexual assaults, occurring in the Wollongong area between 1991 and 1997.
The man was taken to Macksville Police Station, where he was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a person under the age of 10 years.
He fronted Port Macquarie Local Court and was granted conditional bail – due to reappear at Wollongong Local Court in May.
