A man from Dubbo has been fined for refusing an order to leave a popular lookout at Forster.
The 49-year-old was approached by police at the Second Head lookout on Monday and couldn’t provide a legitimate reason for standing beside his car.
He got behind the wheel and reversed in the direction of a police vehicle, before attempting to flee on foot.
He allegedly sneezed on an officer, claiming he had coronavirus.
He received a $1000 fine and was charged with negligent driving.
