MAN CHARGED OVER THE ENTRANCE ARMED ROBBERY

A man has been charged after a woman was injured in an armed robbery at The Entrance.

The 28-year-old allegedly held up the woman known to him, on Bay Road, taking off with her car.

The woman suffered cuts during the incident.

Police say the man on another two occasions, threatened the victim, stealing items and causing malicious damage.

He was arrested yesterday afternoon, and charged with a string of offences.

He will return to court at a later date.
