PARKING FEES FOR COFFS AIRPORT

The days of free parking at Coffs Harbour’s regional airport are almost over with paid parking to start on Monday.
The terminal is the only major east coast airport not charging fees for parking.
From Monday, the first 15 minutes will be free with a $2 charge for every hour there after.
There will be a maximum day fee of $12 and a downward sliding scale to $6 per day after seven days.
The Coffs Harbour City Council says the fees will help pay for new security arrangements at the facility.
Other improvements will be made at the airport including a new air-conditioning system.
