GOOD SAMARITAN HELPS TO PUT OUT HAMILTON BLAZE

A Hamilton stockbroker has thanked a good samaritan who raced to help, after a fire broke out in its carpark.

Emergency services were called to the Pritchard and Partners office on Murray Street shortly before 10am yesterday, finding several bins alight.

A man who lives nearby began dousing the flames with a hose, while waiting for crews to arrive.

The blaze is not being treated as suspicious.
