A man has been refused bail after being accused of an armed robbery at Elermore Vale.
Police allege the 22-year-old threatened a teenager at gunpoint at a Smith Street unit on Saturday afternoon, before the 17-year-old handed over cash.
Tactical operations police swarmed the building early this morning and confronted the man, in a standoff lasting around 40 minutes.
He was eventually arrested and charged, and will face court again tomorrow.
