CENTRAL COAST HOSPITALS TO CLEAR BEDS FOR COVID-19

Central Coast public hospitals are rescheduling non-urgent surgery in a bid to double the region’s number of intensive care beds.

Outpatient calls will be conducted via the phone or video.

It’s hoped the Local Health District will secure an extra 20 beds from the move.

There will be no impact on the emergency department.
