There was a heavy police presence at Cardiff last night following reports a man had barricaded himself inside a home.
Tactical officers along with the heavily armed ‘Bearcat’ were called in, as police negotiators spoke with the man.
The standoff lasted for around six-hours and ended peacefully.
The incident is believed to mental health related.
