HOSPITAL DONATION WELCOMED

Coffs Harbour Hospital’s emergency department is now better equipped thanks to the hardworking members of the Woolgoolga Lions Club.

The club donated $35,000 to purchase a state-of-the-art defibrillator which was officially handed over this morning.

The life-saving machine will be used to treat patients of all ages.

“It’s a life pack 15 defibrillator and it has multi-functions, it’s absolutely essential for the emergency department to have this piece of equipment and we absolutely appreciate this kind donation from the Woolgoolga Lions Club.”

Lions Club members raised the money by operating the Woolgoolga Waste Transfer Station on weekends.
