STUDENTS DONATE ART PRIZE TO WILDLIFE GROUP

A prize-winning indigenous art project is helping preserve one of our national treasures.

This colourful creation, painted by Raymond Terrace Public School’s aboriginal girls group, recently won two awards in the Kreative Koala competition.

So the students involved decided to donate their $600 prize, along with the work itself, to Port Stephens Koalas.

Volunteers were only too happy to accept… picking up both this afternoon.
