CALL FOR QLD DAYLIGHT SAVING REFERENDUM
Tweed Shire Mayor Warren Polglase is calling for another Queensland referendum on Daylight Saving.
It comes as Queensland and New South Wales fall into the same time line again, but only for the next six months.
If there is to be daylight saving in Qld it should be all the year round [QLD standard time why waste taxpayers money on this subject
The so called light rail is just another waste of money as it will only benefit a minority of people, ie students & tourists and just cause traffic holdup for the Gold Coast highway which is already congested the best idea would have been an over head rail system
Yes please-let us have our say. I wish someone would add up all the costs of extra printing etc. over the years that is incurred. We live in the tourist capital of Australia! Why do we have to be behind the rest of the world?
Once agian our tax payers money is going to be wasted on this daylight saving CRAP we already have 14 hours of sunlight in the summer time the sun is up at around 0430 and goes down around 1830 thatis enough time to do what you have to do.
Spend our money on stuff like health,schools and getting as better roads.
