BREAKING | RESCUE UNDERWAY TO SAVE STRANDED BOAT OFF PORT STEPHENS COAST

A crew from Marine Rescue Port Stephens are on their way to rescue four people on a boat stranded 23 nautical miles offshore.

The skipper radioed for help when the vessel’s gearbox failed.

Rescue vessel Port Stephens 31 is expected to take about two hours to arrive on scene, south-east of Port Stephens.
