A day after the coronavirus forced Southern Cross University to close its Lismore and Gold Coast campuses, the gates reopened.
The one-day closure was a result of a visiting employee testing positive to the virus.
47 staff and students who had been in direct contact with the employee are now in iscolation for 14 days.
The University has confirmed relevant areas of both campuses have been comprehensively cleaned.
