Cudgen Surf Life Saver, Jenny Kenny has been named a life member of Surf Life Saving Australia.
Jenny has contributed to the service for more than 40 years….
And was a trailblazer for women’s involvement in the sport, being one of the first women to achieve a Bronze Medallion.
“There are still a lot of women who are in leadership positions but probably not still as many as men, so I’d love to see that change still.”
Yesterday, Jenny led the all female march at New South Wales Country Championships in Belmont in honour of International Women’s Day.
