A woman has been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with facial injuries, after a three vehicle accident on the M1 early this morning.
It’s understood she was driving a red commodore north in the southbound lane.
No one was trapped inside the cars following the crash, however paramedics treated the drivers and passengers inside the other two cars for minor injuries.
The two south-bound lanes were closed for just over an hour, as police diverted traffic.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
