A mystery illness responsible for the deaths of hundreds of lorikeets on the
North Coast is being investigated by a team of veterinarians.
Experts say there are no signs of the birds suffering infections, the illness thought to be caused by a change in diet.
Lorikeets, found between Grafton and Coffs Harbour, may appear paralysed from the neck down.
Anyone who finds the birds are being asked to contact their local WIRES.
